    Aim directly at the monkey

    Explanation:

Despite the mass differences, both the monkey and the food will experience the same acceleration hence while the food follows a projectile path, it will then fall and hit the monkey hence achieving the aim of feeding it. You don't need to aim below or above, aim it directly.
