    I believe that the most correct statement about gases is that gases take the shape of the container. This is because gases have an irregular shape unlike solids. Gases is among the three states of matter, they contain particles or molecules which are further apart compared to those of liquids and solids due to weak intermolecular forces of attraction between them.
