An endothermic reaction is a type of chemical reaction which absorb heat from the surrounding, because of this, the container of the reaction is always cold to touch. For an endothermic reaction, the energy of the products formed in the chemical reaction is always greater than that of the reactants, this is because additional energy in form of heat has been absorbed from the environment.
