    a) Volume of object is 0.015 m³b) Density of metal is 6408.43 kg/m³

    Explanation:

    a) Buoyancy force = Volume x Density of fluid x Acceleration due to gravity

    Buoyancy force = Weight in air - Weight in water

    Buoyancy force = 943 - 799

    Buoyancy force = 144 N

    Volume x Density of water x Acceleration due to gravity = 144

    V x 1000 x 9.81 = 144

    V = 0.015 m³

    Volume of object is 0.015 m³

    b) Weight of metal = 943 N

    Mass of metal x Acceleration due to gravity = 943

    Mass of metal = 96.13 kg

    Volume of metal = 0.015 m³

    Density of metal = Mass of metal : Volume of metal

    Density of metal = 96.13 : 0.015

    Density of metal = 6408.43 kg/m³
