The appropriate response is Cones. They are one of three sorts of photoreceptor cells in the retina of mammalian eyes (e. g. the human eye). They are in charge of shading vision and capacity best in moderately brilliant light, rather than bar cells, which work better in diminishing light.

It would be the cones that are inside our eyes which have the main function to detect bright light thus providing high-resolution colour vision. This specific kind of photoreceptor cells aid the retina in seeing and its counterpart cell would be the "rods" wherein they are responsible for low-intensity lightings.
