Why is a rectangular coil used in an Electric Generator instead of a circular coil?

    when we use a circular coil, the magnetic field will always be perpendicular to the area vector. thus, due to this, sin wt gives sin 90° and that gives one, giving maximum linking of flux associated with the coil at any position.
