The same constant force, F, is applied to two blocks. The first block has a mass of M and the second block has a mass of 2M. Both blocks are initially at rest and the force acts on each of them for the same period of time, t.

    Explanation:

    Force F acts on each of mass M and 2M for a time period of t,

    Impulse created on each = F x t

    Impulse = change in momentum.

    Initial momentum of each = 0

    Increase in momentum is same for both as impulse created on them is same. So final momentum of each will be same.
