How fast must a 1000 kg car moving to have a kinetic energy of (a) 2.0 x 10^3 J and (b) 2.0*10^5 J

    A. Kinetic energy (KE) = 0.5*mass (m) * velocity (v) ²

    where KE = 2*10³ J and mass = 1000 kg

    v² = 2*10³ / (0.5*1000) = 4

    v = 2 m/s

    b. KE = 200,000 J and mass=1000 kg

    v² = 200,000 / (0.5*1000) = 400

    v=20 m/s
