    125.6in²

    Explanation:

    The tube of tennis balls is cylindrical in shape.

    Surface area of a cylinder = Πr³+Πr²h

    S = Πr² (r+h)

    Where r is the radius of the tube

    h is the height of the tube = 8in

    Since Diameter of the tube is 4in

    Radius = Diameter/2

    Radius of the tube = 4in/2 = 2in

    Since Π = 3.14

    S = 3.14 (2) ² (2+8)

    S = 3.14*4*10

    S = 125.6in²
