A fire engine must lift 30 kg of water a vertical distance of 20 m each second. What is the amount of power needed for the water pump for this fire hose?

    Time = 1second

    Substituting this values in the formula we have;

    Power = 300*20/1

    Power = 600Watts or 600J/s

    Therefore, the amount of power needed for the water pump for this fire hose is 600Watts
