Your grandfather clock's pendulum has a length of 0.9930 m. if the clock gains 70 seconds per day, should you increase or decrease the length of the pendulum?

    It doesn't really matter how long the pendulum is now. If the clock is running too fast, then you should slightly INcrease the length of the pendulum. Short ones swing faster. Long ones swing slower.
