If a force of 29 newtons is exerted on a 5kg ball, what is the balls acceleration

    Newton's 2nd law of motion:

    Force = (mass) x (acceleration)

    29 N = (5 kg) x (acceleration)

    Divide each side

    by 5 kg : 29N / 5kg = acceleration

    5.8 m/s² = acceleration
