    If a pair of shoes weighs 11.55 newtons on Jupiter and 0.3 newtons Pluto will weigh 4.56 N and 0.5 N on earth respectively.

    Explanation:

    The value of gravity on other planets is different as compare to the value of g on earth. For Jupiter it is 2.528 time greater than earth and on Pluto it is 0.06 times lesser than earth. So it can be calculated as follows

    Weight on Earth : Weight on Jupiter

    1 : 2.528

    x : 11.55

    By cross multiplication

    1 x 11.55 = X x 2.528

    11.55 / 2.528 = x

    x = 4.56

    So it will weigh 4.56 N on earth

    Similarly solving for Pluto

    Weight on Earth : Weight on Pluto

    1 : 0.06

    x : 0.03

    By cross multiplication

    1 x 0.03 = X x 0.06

    0.03 / 0.06 = x

    x = 0.5

    So it will weigh 0.5 N on earth
