The weight of an object is the product of its mass, m, and the acceleration of gravity, g (whereg=9.8m/s2). If an object's mass ism=10. kg, what is its weight?

    the SI unit of weight is same as the force that means it is newton and the CGS unit is dyne.

    1 newton = 10^5 dyne

    Weight = mass of the body x acceleration due to gravity

    mass, m = 10 kg

    g = 9.8 m/s^2

    Weight, W = m x g

    W = 10 x 9.8 = 98 N
