A boy whirls a stone with uniform speed in a horizontal circle of radius 2 m and at height 2 m above the ground. The string breaks and the stone flies off horizontally and strikes the ground after traveling a horizontal distance of 2 m. What was the magnitude of the stone's centripetal acceleration (in m/s2) when it was in circular motion?
