The more concentrated the solution of acetic acid, the highest the reaction rate. Thus, 12M acetic acid will react faster than 5M acetic acid. The more the amount of acetic acid solution, the highest the reaction rate. Increasing the temperature of acetic acid solution also increases the rate of reaction between acetic acid and calcium carbonate.
