    Density Al = 2.70 gm/cm^-3 Every 1 mL of Aluminium has a mass of 2.70g. Use the density of Al as a conversion factor to go from cubic cm of Al to grams.

    100cm^3 x 2.70g / 1cm^3 = 270 g

    You would cross out the cm^3, so that grams are left. Then you will multiply 100 and 2.70 and you should get 270. The answer is rounded to three sig figs.

    so,
