    on the opposite side

    Answer: Option B.

    Explanation:

Since the pulse is sent down through a rope which is tied to a wall means that the end of the pulse is fixed and it is not loose. If the pulse is reflected at a fixed end, the pulse will reflect off that end which is fixed and the if the end does not move.

This means that if the pulse which has an upward displacement will reflect off the end if the end is fixed like a wall and will return with a downward displacement.
