an object is thrown upward with a velocity of 40 m/s-1. Calculate the maximum height attained by the object take the gravity to be 10m/s-2

    V²=u²+2as

    40²=0+2 (10) s

    1600/20 = 20s/20

    s=80

    the max height is 80m
