    rms current = 16 mA

    Explanation:

    Reactance of the inductor,

    X = 2πfL

    Using I = V / X

    I = V / 2πfL

    I = 111 / 2π (23*10^3) (48*10^-3)

    I = 0.016 A

    I = 16 mA
