A moving object has a mass of 2,000 kg and a speed of 10 m/s. A force of 5,000 N is applied. What is the distance it takes to stop?

    m = 2000 kg

    u = 10 m/s

    v=0

    f = 5000 N

    a = f/m=-5000/2000=2.5 m/s^2

    2 as = v^2-u^2

    2*-2.5*s=0-100

    s=20 m
