Suppose the null hypothesis, H0, is: a weightlifting bar can withstand weights of 800 pounds and less. What is the Type I error in this scenario?

    In the case of this problem, the type I error would be rejecting the null hypothesis, therefore, thinking that the weightlifting bar cannot withstand weights of 800 pounds and less, when it actually can.
