First of all we can convert km/hr into m/s

    30km/hr = (30*1000) / 3600m/s = 25/3m/s

Now. Since the velocity changes from 0 to 30km/hr (or 25/3),

Acceleration = (final velocity - initial) / time taken

    = (25/3-0) / 5=5/3 or 1.66m/s^2
