A force of 4 N produces an acceleration of 3 m/s^2 on an object of an unknown mass.

1. What is the mass of the object?

2. If the force is increased to 6 N, what is the acceleration?

    Force = mass * acceleration

    4 = mass * 3

    mass = 4/3 kg

    if the force is 6 N

    F = m * a

    6 = 4/3 * a

    a = 6*3/4

    acceleration = 4.5 m/s^2
