Watts are the units for power. If a light bulb requires 100 Watts, then that light bulb requires more power than a 50 Watt light bulb.

Power denotes the amount of energy consumed in a second. Assuming these bulbs are used for the same time period, a 100W bulb consumes 100 joules per second and a 50W bulb consumes 50 joules per second. So, a 100W bulb will use more power.
