    Velocity - v = 0 m/s,

    initial velocity - v (0) = 40 m/s

    a - acceleration,

    time - t = 12 s.

    v=v (0) - at

    0 = 40m/s - a*12s

    12a = 40

    a = 3.3 m/s²
