Explain the difference between mass and weight for objects on earth and on the moon

    Mass and weight, while similar are not the same. Mass is the amount of matter in an object. This remains the same both on earth and the moon. Weight is the impact gravity has on an object. This would be lighter on the moon, and heavier on the earth.

    Mass does not change because its dependent on it's own properties while weight is dependent on gravity
