    I guess the answer to this question will be based on my objective opinion as a christian. The bible, the books used by christian as a guiding principle, accounts that God created the heavens (sky) and the earth with the word of His mouth, while science believes in big bang theory, Darwin theory of evolution and the likes.

    According to the bile, the claims by these theories are wrong and does not hold water as far as the christian faith is concerned.

    Creation was completed in six days and on the seventh day, God rested from His works. science does not believe in this. So the two accounts are not consistent as regards the creation story.
