A 500 kg dolphin swims at 4 m/s.

A 700 kg sea turtle swims at 3 m/s.

A 1,100 kg shark swims at 1.5 m/s.

Which sea creature has the most momentum?

    Momentum = mass * velocity

    momentum of Dolphin = 500 * 4 = 2000 kgm/s

    momentum of sea turtle = 700 * 3 = 2100 kgm/s

    momentum of shark = 1,100 * 1.5 = 1650 kgm/s

    So sea turtle has the highest momentum.
