A block of foam has a mass of 10 g, a volume of 60 cm3, and a length of 30 cm. What is the density of the foam? (If necessary, round your answer to three decimal places.)

    10g / 60cm^3 = 1g/6ml = 0.167g/ml

    (1 cm^3 = 1 ml)

    The density is

    (Mass) / (volume)

    = 10/60 = 1/6 g/cm^3. (1.667)

    If you already know the volume, then the length doesn't matter.
