(a) Determine the angular magnification of the planet Mars through this telescope. (b) Are the Martian polar ice caps right side up or upside down

    The angular magnification of this telescope = - f₀ / fe = 20 / 0.025 = - 800

    where f₀ = 20.0 m, focal length of the objective lens and fe = focal length of the eyepiece

    b) since M (angular magnification) < 0, then the martian polar ice cap is upside down
