    How many grams are in 882 μg?

    882 μg (1 g / 10^6 μg) = 8.82 x 10^-4 g

    The density of gold is 19.3 g/cm3Answer the following:

    a. What is the volume, in cubic centimeters, of a sample of gold with mass 0.715 kg?

    0.715 kg (1000 g / 1 kg) (1cm^3 / 19.3 g) = 37.05 cm^3

    b. If this sample of gold is a cube, how long is each edge in centimeters?

    V = s^3 = 37.05 cm^3

    s = 3.33 cm
