Jim measures the side of a box and finds it to be 0.564 meters long. How long is it in centimeters?

    0.564m=56.4cm

    To go from metres to centimetres just multiply by 100.

    Per every 0.01 meter is 1 centimeter so that's pretty straight forward. Just move two decimals to the right: 0.564 m = 56.4 cm
