    Given: Mass m = 50 Kg; Height h = 5 m

    G. P. E = 400 J Derive unit of Joule is equal to J = Kg. m²/s²

    Required: gravity g = ?

    Formula: G. P. E = mgh

    g = G. P. E/mh

    g = 400 Kg. m²/s² / (50 Kg) (5 m)

    g = 400 Kg. m²/s²/250 Kg. m Cancel the unit Kg and m

    g = 1.6 m/s²
