Describe the four main types of resistance forces.

    Following the Free-body Diagram, these are the Four types of Resistance Force with descriptions:

    1. Applied Force - if a person is pushing the table across the hall, then an applied force is acting on the table.

    2. Frictional Force - if a book slides across the surface of the table, then the table exerts a frictional force in the opposite direction of its motion.

    3. Normal Force - if a stone is resisting upon the floor, then the floor is exerting an upward force upon the stone in order to support the weight of the stone.

    4. Gravitational Force - all things on Earth experience gravity or the downward force towards the center of the Earth. It makes all object that are thrown upward will make the objects to fall down.
