    Ernest Rutherford

    Explanation:

Rutherford, through his famous 'α-particle scattering experiment' found that most of α-particles passed through gold foil undeflected and very small fraction of α-particles reflected back. Based on this observation he concluded that positive charge and most of the mass of atom is concentrated in very small region called 'nucleus' and it is surrounded by negatively charged particle called 'electron' that continuously moves around nucleus in circular path.
