we measure time to keep track of our daily lives to be more organized. examples:

    -when to wake up

-what time is does the sunset

-what time do humans go to sleep

-what time do humans have to wake up in the morning

    -when its night

    -when its day

and comes in handy for history too and so many more ... but more importantly to keep track of our days, months, and years we have to have to know when the seasons change and when the earth rotates around the sun! and without measuring time you wouldn't know how old you are!

I hoped this is what you were meaning : D

Probably to make life easier for everyone and see relations/correlations between humans, in Science or nature.

    For example:

By measuring time it's easier to "correlate" with someone else's life. If two people want to meet up, it's more useful to say a certain time than let's say "sometime in the near future" (here without any specific dates/time indications).

We use time to compare things.

Since time is also kind of an investment - opportunity cost. We use it as an efficiency tool - what takes less time? So less work.
