How does the equivalent resistance of a series circuit compare to the resistance value of the individual resistance in the circuit?

    Total resistance in a series circuit is found by adding all the values of the resistors in that circuit. So the equivalent resistance of any amount of resistors in a series circuit will be greater than any individual resistor in that circuit.
