The bullet will travel 276.64 meters horizontally. First, we use the equation h = 0.5gt^2, where g is gravity constant of 9.8 m/s^2, h is the height of the bullet, and t is the time the bullet is in the air. Solving for t, we get 0.55 seconds. We plug that into the next equation d = Vt, where d is the distance traveled, V is the velocity of the bullet, and t is the time the bullet is in the air. Solving for d, we get 276.64 m.
