The mass of the pelican is 10 kg

    Explanation:

Force (Momentum) = Mass of pelican x Acceleration of pelican

    50 kg. m. m/s = Mass of pelican x 5 m/s

    Divide through by 5 m/s

    Mass of pelican = (50 kg. m. m/s) / (5 m/s)

Mass of pelican = 10 kg
