On Earth, 1 kilogram of mass weighs 9.8 newtons or 2.2 pounds.
9.8 newtons = 2.2 pounds
(9.8/2.2) newtons = 1 pound = 4.45 newtons
(2.2/9.8) pounds = 1 newton = 0.225 pound
5 pounds = (5 x 4.45 newtons) = 22.2 newtons.
22.2 newtons is more than 10 newtons, so
5 pounds is more than 10 newtons.
