A jogger accelerates at a constant rate of 1.20 m/s^2 for 3.00 seconds. If her initial speed was 2.50 m/s, find her speed after those 3 seconds of acceleration.

    Using: v = u + at,

    u = initial speed = 2.50 m/s

    a = acceleration = 1.2 m/s^2

    t = time = 3.00 s

    v = 2.5 + 1.2*3

    v = 2.5 + 3.6

    v = 6.1

    Her speed after 3s is 6.10 m/s.
