What is the rms Voltage value and why we use it?

    Suppose that you have an alternating current generator. If you want to get the same result with a direct current (DC) generator, you have to set the voltage to the RMS (Root Mean Square) value of the (AC). In short, RMS is the value of the direct current voltage that is used instead of an alternating current.
