A student exerts a force of 500 n pushing a box 10 m across the floor in 4 s. how much work does the student perform?

    W = Fd

    Given F = 500 N, d = 10 m

    W = (500) (10)

    W = 5000 J

    The work done is 500 Joules. The time of 4 s is irrelevant in this case.
