    20m/s

    Explanation:

    Acceleration is the change in velocity of a body with respect to time. Mathematically;

    Acceleration (a) = change in velocity (v-u) / time taken (t)

    Where v = final velocity and u is the initial velocity

    a = v-u/t

    at = v-u

    v = u+at

    Since the object is under a free fall, it is acting under the influence of gravity, therefore a = + g (downward fall)

    v = u+gt

    Given u = 0m/s, g = 10m/s², t = 2seconds

    v = 0+10 (2)

    v = 20m/s

    The speed of the object after falling will therefore be 20m/s

    acceleration times the time falling

    in this case it would be = (9.81 m*s^-1) (2)

    =19.62 m*s^-1
