The speed of the wave is important to the wave length because when one wave is completed you measure that one wave from start to finish. Which give you a wave length the frequency on the other hand doesn’t have much to do with if because frequency measures up and down with sound. Where as wave length and wave speed doesn’t matter to the frequency. Understand?

    The product of

    (wavelength) times (frequency)

    is always the wave’s speed.
