What is the current through a series circuit with three 2-ohm resistors and a 9-volt battery

    In a series circuit, the total resistance is the sum of the individual resistors.

    Total = 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 ohms.

    Current = (voltage) / (resistance) = 9 V / 6 ohms = 1.5 Amperes
