Since each tropical year consist of 365.242199 days, then two and a half tropical years would be equivalent to

    Number of days = (2.5) (365.242199) = 913.1055 days

The conversion are as follows: there are 24 hours in 1 day, and there are 3,600 seconds in 1 hour. Thus, the total number of seconds in 2 and a half tropical years would be

    Number of seconds = 913.1055 days (24 h/1 day) (3,600 s/1 day)

Number of seconds = 78,892,314.98 seconds
