    we are given with an initial height of 25 meters in which the object is dropped freely from above. Hence teh kinematic equation that can be applied is 2ax = vf2 - v02 where a is the acceleration due to gravity and vo is equal to zero. Substiuting, vf is equal to C. 22 meters / second

    Using kinematics, the variables we know are:

    Acceleration (due to gravity) = 9.81m/s^2 [down]

    distance = 25m

    Vi = 0m/s

    Since we don't know time we can use the equation:

    Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2ad

    Vf^2 = 0^2 + (2) (-9.81) (-25)

    Vf^2 = 490.5m/s

    Vf = 22m/s
