    Light travels faster than sound

    Explanation:

Light does not need a medium to travel. The speed of light in vacuum is 300 million meters per second (i. e. 300,000,000 m/s) while the speed of sound in air is just 340 m/s. Sound is a mechanical disturbance through air or any other medium. No information can propagate faster than light.
